Om Haddal
Haddal has been a farming community for hundreds of years, with farms along the hillsides towards Vartdalsfjorden. The village is a popular starting point for hikers heading to the highest peaks on Hareidlandet. The Eiksund tunnel, opened in 2008, provided a fixed road connection southwards and linked Hareidlandet more closely to the rest of Sunnmøre.
